For your first (and every!) visit to Southeast Radiation Oncology Center, our focus is on you and how we can provide you with the best treatment and care. Below are a few things that you can expect during your first appointment with us.
To help us better serve you at your first appointment, you may print and complete our patient forms and bring them with you on your first visit to our office. You will need a “Notice Of Privacy Practices” form, and a “Patient History” form.
During your first visit, Dr. Huang will meet with you, and any family members who would like to be present, to discuss your radiation therapy treatment plan, along with the potential outcomes. This includes reviewing your current medical problems, past medical history, past surgical history, family history, medications, allergies and lifestyle. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask us! We will make sure you have all of the information you need.
Before you leave our office, we will set up your appointment for your first radiation treatment. In most cases, you will start treatment within a few days of your first appointment.
